independent school deposits

We live in Sevenoaks, Kent and are hoping for Skinners, the Independent school is Notre Dame.

I think I will call them in the morning and try my luck, all I have to lose is a bit of pride.

Thanks to everyone for the advice.

I have just got off the phone with Notre Dame, who were ever so helpful. Before I even asked they had offered me an extenison and said we could let them know on the 4th March.

Still means that we will have to pay when we go to appeal (which I am resigned to), but I don't have a problem with that. Really it was the unfairness of having to make a decision before we were fully informed of our choices that was bothering me.
