I second that Ed's Mum!!! Tipsy has been a great help to many of us here, what a treasure trove of information she is!

Thank you so much (she says bashfully) for your kind messages.

My motivation is that I want others to have an awareness of what is out there and what they can access whether it be a great comp, grammar school or independent (although my knowledge is greater with the latter), and to have access to bursaries, scholarship, state boarding facilities etc. I know it may seem one sided but some of the more frequent posters will know that in pm's I have said that the GS is the better school over the independent in their area and at times I have said the opposite - I'm not completely biased but try, and get it wrong at times, to gage the right school given the limited info I have based on the member's post.

I have enjoyed offering help and receiving plenty of help from this forum and hope it will continue! :D
