how do i send a pm?

i assume I will have to join the member list to send a pm. Can you explain how I do this, have tried and failed

You will need to register (see bottom of page)...... this will then enable the PM function. I have been registered on the site for over a year and have never had any 'spam' or unwanted messages so don't be put off.
