Re: Advice re review
Hi Dragonamp, We've got our letter for SWBGS too. Group hearing on 8th May and individual during the following week.
If I understand it correctly it seems to be a reversal of last year - this year they are starting with a group hearing dealing with oversubscription. The letter says that this is not the appropriate stage to raise matters about your individual case or personal circumstances so presumably this will not then be followed immediately by individual cases.
The second hearing will deal with FCO (where applicable), qualification(where applicable) and then oversubscription again.
I'm wondering if those who were qualified either through initial test or SR will be dealt with on the same day as the first hearing and it is only non-qualifiers who have to come back the following week?

Re: Advice re review
We just got our dates for our appeal at WHS
Our 2nd hearing is scheduled for the 16th of June at 11.30
My wife has a long standing work commitment and is abroad on that day - Just called them and although they were sympathetic, they couldn't promise that they would be able to change the date. They did suggest that I might be able to swap appointments with another family, so if there is anyone out there that our appointment would suit better, please drop me a PM.
As if this wasn't stressful enough already!
Thanks,
Paul

That is a poop...Sorry I cannot help! Trouble is if only one of you go and the appeal is not a success the unspoken marital blame game begins. Do you have a friend or relative you could get up to speed to help you out in your wife's absence and prove a useful witness?
Good luck, you may win billys anyway so no need for the whs appeal!

Thank you so much for the kind words Southbucks!
It's not the blame issue that is bothering me - more that my wife is so very much better than me at stuff like this!
Cheers anyway,
Paul

Happy days!
For now anyway! Bucks have managed to reschedule appeal to a later date.
Just want this rollercoaster ride to end now!
Cheers

Re: Advice re review
Postie has just delivered the bad news that we were unsuccessful in our appeal for Borlaise.
The IAP agreed that there were strong extenuating circumstances, but they did not believe that they would account for the whole of the gap in points.
Trying to keep my chin up and get on with preparing for WHS

Good luck for whs
At least you know what angle they are coming from now for the second appeal and can adjust your notes accordingly.
Just had ours, not too confident either.
