Re: ranking of appeals
Thank you - everything crossed for all of us
Are you still ofsoundmind? I know I am not!! Not sure how anyone does it without this forum!
Just wish I had found it before the need to appeal
Loads of luck too

Re: ranking of appeals
Hi all,
We were not sucessful for Marling. have spoken to school and only seven appeals were upheld so even more cause for celebration for Osm and monkey feet!
Thanks for the help here - at least we feel we gave it our best shot.
Off to mop up DS - just want to take away the pain but can't!

So very sorry to hear your news, inyourowntime.
It didn't help that there were so many appellants.
I know it hurts - but you really couldn't have done more.

Re: ranking of appeals
Sorry to hear your anguish.
Hopefully you and ds can see some light at the end of the tunnel, has your allocated school organised any fun camps or team building sessions? Are there any particular friends that he knows of that are going to his allocated school? Thankfully although my son number two has barely any friends attending his allocated school, the thought of the team building camp has got him very excited and the teacher meet and greet worked wonders too.
At least you have the rest of half term to do something fun together and plan your next move for secondary education.
Try to keep smiling, I know first hand how difficult it is to keep upbeat, but save your anguish for your eleven plus forum friends to listen to, that is what we do best.

Thank you
It is hard not to slip into rage against the system but will not go there! DS is one of those fortunate kids who will be fine wherever he is - hope he will see that soon too. Despite not knowing any one in his year he is very sporty so sure he will make friends in various teams!
Thanks for your kind words x
