I can picture DS bringing his friends home from Eton to Darcy Manor and thinking they've stopped off at the Housekeepers home!

T.i.p.s.y. just make sure it is relevant to the house. One of our houses was called The Hedges, only problem being there wasn't a hedge in sight!! We reverted to the number!

How about Bennett's after Miss Elizabeth.

Sea View

(I have seen a few "Sea Views", when there wasn't one in sight!, and no, this isn't a serious suggestion, but just wanted to add it to the list anyway)

I have a friend whose house is named after the night club the previous owner met his wife in.

Perhaps you also have happy memories like this, there can't be many houses in Gloucestershire called " Talk of the Town" or "Sinatra's".
