And once in the secluded spot you can dig out the Bond papers without embarrassment.

Dickens world - I thought it vastly overpriced. One boat ride, a sort of hauntd house simulation thing a short 3d cinema experience & a room with desks and a quiz on dickens on screens - honestly thta was it. Although we went about 3 years ago. It had about an hour or so entertainment value

so depends on the deal u can get on price. there is an odeon & lots of restaurants next to it so u could make a day of it - but potentially expensive

Thanks for that .I thought I would ask because I do remember when it first opened there were lots of similar complaints .I was going to use my Days Out tokens from Tesco...so wouldn't cost me anything , but don't really want to be done and dusted in less then an hour !

the museum of kent life or chatham Dockyard are much better. What sort of things do your family enjoy?

My DS's felt that the Museum of KEnt life was more for younger children.

I've just booked Hever Castle tickets via Tesco clubcard. Not sure if you been there. I haven't, but have hear alot of good recommendations.

Has anyone been to Eagle Heights? My younger DS loves birds of prey and I wondered what it would be like.

Wildwood - they've been to this a few times and enjoy it. Its probably an afternoon visit.

Hever Castle is fab. They have an excellent water maze which is fun, the maze is brilliant & I liked the older children's play area - too often there is nothing for older ones. We had an excellent day out & didn't fit it all in .
You may be right about the kent life museum - the historical side to the buildings grabs my older dd but they play area is only for younger kids :(
