And if your local school doesn't want them, pass them to the library!

I have in my Library 20yrs of The New Scientist in bonded folders chronologically arranged.
Any student wanting to do STEM or Medical and Allied subjects, it's a must! you need nought else :wink:

pay particular attention to The Last Word on the penultimate page , great lateral thinking questions of every day phenomena , brilliant questions for potential Oxbridge candidates

I still read it weekly although my work has nothing to do with the sciences, but my son uses the on-line version which you get free if one subscribes, but yearly subscriptions are quite expensive, but every Local Library will have weekly copies-shame they are closing them down :evil:
