Comments on CAF
On the eAdmission site, where you enter the CAF for London's schools, for each school preference you can write additional comments and reasons for choosing that given school.
Does anybody know if the school gets to see that comment or if the comment is only for who manages the eAdmission process?

We're in a curious situation where the law says that parents must be allowed to state preferences and give reasons for them, but the Admissions Code says that allocations must be based strictly on the published oversubscription criteria.
As far as I know, no one takes any notice of the reasons (perhaps some of my fellow Mods who specialise in admissions can confirm?), and they are not given to the schools.
Exceptional social/medical reasons - if these are one of the oversubscription rules - would be relevant, but additional documentation would be required anyway.
I am also assuming that siblings can be mentioned elsewhere on the form, if there is a sibling rule.
