A small update, in case these ideas are useful for anyone else.
DD has started doing the 'parallelograms' on https://parallel.org.uk/ - she has only done a couple, but they seem just the thing - a few questions and a thought-provoking video or two about some maths-related topic.
A kind user also messaged me to suggest the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge, so we'll take a look at these too. https://www.ukmt.org.uk/competitions/so ... ge/archive
Meanwhile, since SATs, DD is finally being inspired in class as her teacher (who is the primary maths lead) is giving her and her desk mate some really interesting maths challenges, and they are really flying. I'm so relieved!
