DG, I mentioned the possibility of having to quit scouts using your example. DS now has a better understanding of what the extra travel could mean and is coming round to the idea of the easier route. He also prefers not to see ragey stressed out mum trying to get him out the door every morning.
Although DD has moved to what is literally our nearest secondary school for 6th form, only a mile walk away, and I am still being driven to distraction by her habit of not getting out of the door on time in the morning .
