It probably does depend on the school, but there are grammar schools around where the children do little more than familiarisation and there is not the large scale tutoring that exists in some places.

I agree that you should give it a bit of a rest. If that stresses you, then play Scrabble / do crosswords etc and read more advanced books with her. That way she will be gaining vocab without all the testing.
