Chis and Sid starters 2013

Thx lefol and merlin from camelot . DS enjoyed his induction day at Chis and Sid and is looking forward to join in September. Are there any assessments /tests during the term ?

Glad to hear he enjoyed the induction day . They have regular assessments throughout the term and end of term exams . For subjects like science , they get tested at the end of each unit - you will have to rely on your ds to tell you when he has a test , but sometimes they only inform you the night before . If a child does really badly in a test, they have what is called a re test, they have to sit the test again . You can ask the teachers to send you a scheme of work for each subject and that way you can follow the topics they are taught at school and help them to revise of your ds is as scatty as mine! You get reports each term which tell you how your ds is doing . They also have regular test for languages . Ds is not the most organised but he seems to have done relatively well this year and has not had any detentions.
