The scores you are given are standardised, not raw scores. Unless the LEA decides to tell you what the raw scores were and how the standardised scores are calculated, you can have no idea whether the mean score - represented by a standardised score of 100 - for a paper was 60%, 80% or 40% . So a candidate achieving a raw score of 70% may get a standardised score of , say, 130 if a lot of people found the paper hard and did poorly, or more like 110 or whatever if the paper was easier and therefore the mean raw score higher.dwisdom wrote:Hi Does anybody know the % mark pass mark...
