If she was pooled then not getting offered probably wasn't because of exam grades ( achieved or predicted) but due to the interviewers' assessment of the interview.
It might be that the Cambridge system isn't suited to her or that the interview didn't portray her in her true light.
Whatever the case, to get pooled is quite an achievement in itself so I hope she isn't too disheartened and enjoys wherever she lands
