Re: QE Boys results Historic marks background info
So Crisscross who was at 31 has a place and we know that the list has now reached mark 229.
Well done Crisscross.
As Crisscross is in Isleworth West London quite far away from QE the list has either already reached those on 228 who are closest to the school or it is almost there. DG

Dear All
Yes, finally my DS has been offered a place. Thank you to each and every one for your advice and support, without which we would have had no confidence to wait this long at all.
Congratulations to each and every one who has got his preferred choice, and wish the very best to all the dear ones who are waiting for the good news. I am sure all your wishes will come true.
Thanking you once again
Best Regards

Yes. Congratulations to the parents and boys who have received the offers !!nyr wrote:at 39 now
Any idea what score that would be ?
The WL will move only less than or equal to 5 number of places, is that correct ?
Re: QE Boys results Historic marks background info
I think it's at 228.

Agreed Crisscross was 31 in Isleworth on 229 so I would say they would be on 228 by now. DG

Hi,
According to the recent movement in the waitlist, we are at position 46. What are the chances? As the WL has moved 5 places from 34 to 39, does it mean that the WL would now move either 5 or less place?
Many Thanks

Re: QE Boys results Historic marks background info
A place has to be given up before any movement can occur on the waiting list. One vacancy may lead to a single boy being offered the place or many. It all depends on how many turn it down because they are happy with what they have. The later a vacancy arises the more movement it will induce as families are more likely to have paid full-term fees, bought uniform, attended induction days, etc. Though I should mention that a family was offered a place at a North London super-selective in September of Y7 and, within days, moved 400 miles to take it up, so it's always difficult to predict accurately how a WL will move.
