True. Barnet on QE exam day feels a bit like Wembley on match day!!

I dunno......I was there in the midst of the poll tax riots back in the late 80s and it wasn't dissimilar.... :wink:

This seems like more hype around the qe exam. The numbers sitting are not dissimilar to when my DS sat several years ago and we had no problem parking or getting there on time. You seemed to have been remarkably unlucky that it took 2 ½ hrs to drive only 7 miles. However I have never noticed any traffic alerts around the area on exam day. The problem seems to be the bottle neck caused by people wanting to park directly outside the school. Plenty of easy parking at the shopping centre or anywhere parents are prepared to walk 10 mins for.
