Re: Anagrams
There are definitely no anagrams in the Bucks 11+.
Re: Anagrams
Anagrams can appear in the Bucks test as part of the analogy questions.
Siren is to ( risen, ????, ?????)
as stop is to (post, ?????, ?????)
Analogies fall into 4 basic groups:
1] similar in meaning
2] opposite in meaning
3] the same connection eg banana is yellow and strawberry is red [connection - colours]
4] spellings
The spelling section can be divided into:
1] anagrams
2] homophones
3] reversing letters [laid/dial]
4] adding or taking a way letters [car is to cart]

Re: Anagrams
I agree with Patricia in part, because she is absolutely correct about this type of question turning up. However, they are "tricks and traps" that occur with certain question types. There are no specific "anagram questions" on the paper. It is worth being aware of the tricks, but there are no specific anagram question sets on the Bucks papers.patricia wrote:Anagrams can appear in the Bucks test as part of the analogy questions.
