Today's the day
For some at least. I am glad that I found this website even though I just read for a while before I plucked up courage to post.
It has given me lots of advice and support over the long months of waiting. I just hope that we 11+ parents get the right choices for our children (but I suspect in the back of my mind that one of my children may not make the grammar).
I think you have a gut feeling about your children and I think one of my twins has the edge over the other. However, we will wait and see if my LEA is cruel enough to split up my twins.
Good luck everyone and PLEASE come back to post where your child is going. Remember to celebrate the comps too, because they try to do a good job as well.

Well the wait is over for me at least. My son didn't get in at the non fee paying grammar school but with offers from Solihull School and King Edwards School Birmingham I still think he did very well. Guess I will be working full time for a bit longer.
Will have to go through it again soon with my daughter.
Good luck to everyone.

Today's not the day
This is quite frustrating - we live in Worcestshire, but very close to the Solihull and Birmingham boundary. I have just found out that we will not hear till Friday 3rd as Worcester LEA has decided only to post the admissions letters today by 2nd class post.
I though this was meant to be a National Decision Day!

Re: Today's not the day
I actually think that if today is National Offer Day we should be told today! Sending 2nd class is an insult after waiting all this time.KenR wrote:This is quite frustrating - we live in Worcestshire, but very close to the Solihull and Birmingham boundary. Hi Guest - I phoned Worcester Admissions Office today but they said they would only give results over the phone on Friday 3rd! They really are a very poor LEA - no idea of Customer Service
