First day - what are you doing?

I'm in a quandry about whether to let DS start out as she means to go on by catching the "grammar bus", but as a mum I want to take her myself. She herself is changing daily which isn't helping!! Just wondering out of interest what others are going to be doing.

On the bus like his siblings before him, tried and trusted method

Our DS is going into school for 2 hours on the Tuesday, in full uniform to take part in a treasure hunt around the school to get them used to their new surroundings, so we will take him then.
But his first full day on the Wednesday will be the bus. I too feel anxious as he wont know anybody else, but in my heart know that it is best for him and a way to hopefully make new friends.
