Anyone know what format RGS Guildford uses for VR?

Does anyone know what format MC or standard or mixed that RGS use for their VR test?
Also...how do you find out these things? Do the schools tell you? I mean do you just walk up pen and notebook in hand, (trying not to look desperate) and demand detailed information about their papers?

Is it obvious I'm new?
