hi kindly advice travel to westcliff girls grammar school from leigh on station or westcliff stn. surfing net for a week for a better travel option
rather than walking from stn. any other transport facility other than bus 21.
even if you are short trip school drip from stn.
your feedback will be more valuable for a desperate one.

ETA - just noticed you mention Westcliff station - nearest station for WHSG is Chalkwell!
I'm going to assume that you are enquiring in advance of making possible CAF decisions, rather than from a perpective of having chosen WHSG for your DD who now finds that that she doesn't like the available travel options?
One way of doing the journey would be to get off the train at Southend Central station, then get the bus back towards the school from the travel centre, which is a few minutes' walk from the station. You then have the option of using the 21 or the number 29 Arriva service, which stops on Kenilworth Gardens outside the Westcliff schools.
What have you got against the 21 - other than it gets rather full? All the buses do at 'school' times, I'm afraid.
A huge crowd of WHSG / WHSB / Tommie More kids seen to have no issue with walking over from Chalkwell station, though

Okay, I'm not sure where you are travelling from, but lots of kids get off the train which arrives at Chalkwell at 08,02 - which is the train DS1 and DD are usually getting onto to go to Southend East, however much I nag them to get out for the 07.47 . If your DD is a slow walker or fancies popping into the Co-op on the way, she would also be better on the earlier one, and certainly if you are thinking of using the Southend Central / Travel Centre route. Southend Central is two stops further on from Chalkwell, about 5 minutes' travel time. Please don't get out at Westcliff; despite WHSG being one of the 'Westcliff' Schools, 'Westcliff' covers quite a wide area and the school is nowhere near the station.kkr76 wrote:thanks for your reply really appreciate, as in your message we try to follow on monday morning along with other school kids for wchs. inorder to experience.
