AGS PAN 2015 & 2016
I was hoping for some clarification.
For 2015 entry the PAN was 120, but I read the governors had agreed to accept up to 30 over PAN.
The entry for 2016 is to increase to 150 PAN. I assume from this no offers over PAN will be made.
Therefore, from this information, would I be right in thinking that the 2015 & 2016 qualifying scores will be very similar?
Are there any figures available to suggest what lowest AQS for SGGS and AGS are this year?

When this happened in brum 2 years ago - the year before pp- the QS had dropped by about 3 points on average.

Re: AGS PAN 2015 & 2016
I believe that AGS "went over" by a class, a year earlier than anticipated, due to lower numbers in the 6th form, than anticipated, meaning that the entire school cohort still came in at out the same number. They were always taking on an extra class from 2016 entry so it just happened sooner. AGS has for the last few years had an AQS quite a few points lower than both SGGS and KES and certainly the lowest score in is likely to be significantly lower. It is likely that the AQS would be around the same but can be influenced by how many people want AGS - if lots of people decide they want AGS, then when they set the AQS (usually at around the PAN) then it could be slightly higher.nervousmom wrote:I was hoping for some clarification.
