Transport to John Hampden from Hillingdon
Hiya
Just wanted some advice I live in Hillingdon and my son will be starting John Hampden in High Wycombe in September. Are there other parents that either car share or send their children on public transport?
any advice will be appreciated
thanks

Re: Transport to John Hampden from Hillingdon
That's quite a journey. I think there are other posts on here asking about a journey from Uxbridge. I think the suggestion was a bus to West Ruislip, then a train from West Ruislip to High Wycombe and then a (long) walk up the hill or a bus. Google maps suggests about 1.5 hours without traffic hold ups. Presumably before applying you worked this out & are just asking to see if there is a possibility of a lift share? By car I guess it would be about 30 minutes without any traffic maybe a bit more in the rush hour or a lot more when the motorway or the Handy Cross roundabout is closed.
