Filling in CAF form

Post by newatthis »

All, Please excuse my ignorance on this one. First time going through the process. I've filled in my preferences on the CAF, we are using the online form. Where do we fill in the CSSE score on the form? I've answered questions around siblings and social or medical circumstances but I can't see anything that joins up the CSSE score when applying. The link for the SIF form goes straight to the CSSE website. I am confused, what am I missing?

I can't speak for the schools you are applying to, but when we applied for DD 3 years ago, there was nowhere to put the score. The schools and/or LAs will have the scores already so you don't need to put it. Even if you did they would still have to confirm it somehow otherwise your could put anything.

My understanding is you don't put it in.

If you follow this link:
http://www.essex.gov.uk/Education-Schoo ... ents-.aspx
And open the file : secondary admission scheme 2016/17, it outlines the timescales of the process, but basicly the LEA and the CSSE exchange information re scores and places offered, so no, you as a parent do not need to submit the score.
