Kendrick Open Evening – Thursday 28th April 2016
We've been informed that the next Open Evening will be on Thursday 28th April 2016, 5pm to 8pm. There's no parking at the school.
In previous years, the Head gives a speech, repeated several times throughout the evening to give everyone a chance to hear it. Kendrick girls show families around and there are a few lesson demos around too.
But be warned the year we attended, it was incredibly busy and not a very nice experience (being almost crushed in the corridors!)

It is always like that. It is better if you can get there at 5pm whilst some are still at work but it will be a crush whatever time you go. It is the only chance you will get to see the school though so you need to brave it if you are interested in your daughter attending.BlueSmarties wrote:We've been informed that the next Open Evening will be on Thursday 28th April 2016, 5pm to 8pm. It's not easy if you don't do crowds. Rest assured that a normal school day isn't quite like that.
Also if you go to the head's talk, she can come across as quite scary and stern, but actually she is lovely.
I'd definitely go early if you can.
Blue smarties rightly pointed out there's no parking at the school. The nearest car parks are Queens road and Oracle and I'd advise you try one of those. There is on street parking available but it is limited. Don't risk parking in permit only spaces etc, RBC traffic wardens know when there are events going off at school and work a late shift. I saw them ticketing cars on a nearby street at after 8:00pm.
